The USA a country so vast with fantastic cites is made for a road trip, we have done a few but the most memorable was when we wanted to fulfill a long held ambition of visiting the Florida Keys. We decided to fly to Atlanta some
1,000 miles from the Keys and make our way south via Georgia, South Carolina and the length of Florida. We stopped and passed through many great towns but the highlight must have been Charleston, so full of history and wonderful colonial style buildings. We reached the Keys eventually spending a few nights at The Raleigh in Miami, zipping through the alligators in the Everglades by air boat and hopping across the islands of the Keys and finally Key West a slightly surreal place that feels more like the Caribbean than the US and has an Ernest Hemingway day where everyone dresses up like him!
Only in America!
