14:00 (Approx)  Arrive at hotel (TBC) in Kyoto, orientation with Steve Jones at hotel

Tuesday 24th  September
10:30 Private bus departs for Arashiyama. Walk through town centre and lunch. Visit Tenryuji Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site) and bamboo grove
15:30 Sagano Scenic Railway (25 mins). Return to hotel.
18:00 Cocktails at hotel inc description of options for Osaka visit (next day) followed by party into town and dinner.

Wednesday 25th September
09:00 Private bus departs for Osaka. En route, orientation with Steve Jones. Visit to Universal Studios Japan theme park
Other options include a city tour by Osaka ‘Aqua Liner’ waterbus plus a visit to Osaka Castle and trips to Shinsekai/Grand Front (shopping districts)
18:00 Reconvene at Hotel Nikko Osaka, before heading to Minami district for cocktails, dinner, night life.
23:30 Private bus to Kyoto

Thursday 26th September
11:00 Private bus departs for Kobe. En route, orientation with Steve Jones.
12:30 Arrive at Kobe steak restaurant for lunch
14:30 Walking tour of Kobe
16:00 Arrive at Stadium Fan Zone
19:45 Kick Off (England Vs USA)

Sight-seeing day in downtown Tokyo, including visits to:
– The Skytree (world’s tallest free-standing tower)
– Akihabara (‘Electric Town’), the home of anime, manga and video game culture
– Refreshments in one of the famous Maid’s Cafés
– Visit the raucous and fun street markets and shopping district around Asakusa Kannon Temple
– Later to Ginza, one of the most elegant and luxurious streets in the world

Thursday 3rd October*
06:30 depart for Hakone to experience the beauty of Autumn in Japan. Includes stunning views of:
– Mt Fuji and Lake Ashi
– Visits to an active volcano
– The world-famous Japanese gardens in Onshi Hakone Park
– Stroll down the Tokaido Road (400 year old Cedar Avenue)
*Thursday 3rd Alternative Option – Trip to Kobe for Ireland Vs Russia (overnight stay)

Friday 4th October
Further sight-seeing in Tokyo or Tokyo Bay Fishing (Charter Boat)
Autumn is the best season for sport fishing in Tokyo as many species have migrated from the cooler waters of the North. An English speaking captain allows visitors the best chance of getting a big catch

Saturday 5th October
Match Day
17:00 Kick off (England Vs Argentina)

Sunday 6th October
Return to London.
