Majorca is such an underrated Island! So many think of only the popular places in the south of the island but for those more discerning who explore further than 30 minutes from Palma Airport you can find some treats!
Our particular favourite is the North of the Island which is much more accesible than ever in the last 20 years since a tunnel has been cut through the mountains saving a stomach chruning hairpin bend ride around them! Here you find charming villages, towns and beach resorts such as Soller, Puerto Soller, Deia, Valldemossa or Pollenca. Our particular favourite place to stay is Ca’s Xorc a small 14 room former Finca (olive press), now a charming hotel set high above Soller. The smell of lemons growing on trees and the gentle chink of the bells from the goats roaming the hills live long in the memory.
